Itinerary

Day 01: Cochin (Athirapally Vazhachal waterfalls (80km/2hrs)

Upon your arrival in Kochi, you will be received our representative who will also help you in your transfer to your hotel of stay.As you reach the hotel, complete the check-in and then relax for a while to get over with the travel fatigue. 

After a while we will start our Drive to Athirappally Vazhachal waterfalls.Vazhachal waterfalls are in Thrissur district. Originates from the Chalakudy River, Vazhacahl waterfalls is located around 3 km from another popular waterfall in the state, Athirappally.  Best season to visit this waterfall is from June to October as it’s the time for monsoon in Kerala

At the end of the first day of your Kerala family tour, return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stays.

Day 02: Cochin to Munnar

After breakfast at the hotel, you will check out from the hotel and then get transferred to mesmerizing Munnar by road.On the way, enjoy the sightseeing attractions such as Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Valara waterfalls.

On arrival at Munnar check into Hotel and relax for the rest of the day. Overnight stay at the hotel will be arranged.

Day 03: Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast, get ready to leave for a full day sightseeing tour of Munnar Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level and also the home of South India's highest peak (anamudi-2695 mts). It is Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India.

Visit Pothamedu, the sweeping Mattupetty and Kundala Dam, Echo Point, Eravikulam National Park and Tea Museum along with enjoying a boating stint in the lake. 

Also, you can explore the local markets of Munnar for a little souvenir hunting. Later, return to the hotel for a lovely dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04: Munnar to Thekkady

After breakfast checkout from the hotel and Drive through one of those most picturesque hill highways of Kerala. Thekkedy, also known as periyar is a world famous wildlife sanctuary and one of the 48 Tiger reserves in India

on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for the sightseeing tour of Thekkady - one of the world's most fascinating wild life reserves. The Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq. km of which 360 sq. km is thick ever green forest. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Optional activities like Boating at Periyar Lake, Spice Plantation visit and Elephant Ride can be done at an extra cost. Overnight stay is arranged in Thekkady.

Day 05 :Thekkady to Alleppey & the houseboat stay

After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to houseboat . Around 1200 hrs check in at the Houseboat and start your cruise through the rich and splendid backwater. Just relax at the deluxe houseboat. It will be a unique and exclusive experience in your lifetime. You will be cruising along the village sides and paddy fields witnessing the core life of the Kerala villages for the whole day. The house boat is fully furnished with bedrooms and a kitchen. Dinner and overnight at the houseboat.

Day 06: Alleppey to Kanyakumari

In the morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and Proceed to Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari, Confluence of three ocean, Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean & Bay of Bengal. On the way visit Padmanabhapuram Palace, Suceendram Temple. Later depart to enjoy a short sightseeing tour of Kanyakumari visiting Swami Vivekananda Memorial, TriveniSangamam and Thiruvalluvar Statue. Evening witness the spectacular sunset view.Overnight at Hotel in Kanyakumari.

Day 07: Kanyakumari to Kovalam

After breakfast, proceed to Kovalam, a beach town which also known as the paradise of the south. he sixth day of your family holiday in Kerala lets you to have fun with your dear ones as you can indulge in beach activities, swimming and more.

After an eventful day in Kovalam, return to the hotel for a overnight stay.

Day 08: Kovalam / Trivandrum sightseeing

After Breakfast, day is free till out for sightseeing, Evening visit the Padmanabha Swami Temple, spectacular Kovalam Beach. Kovalam offers breathtaking backwaters, lush landscapes, coconut palms and pristine beaches. Rest of the day free for leisure.Overnight stay at the Hotel in Kovalam.

Day 09 :Kovalam - Trivandrum (Departure).

After breakfast check out from hotel, proceed to Trivandrum, dropping at Trivandrum Airport / Railway station.

  • Meal plan - start with Lunch and ends with Breakfast (Typical Kerala Cuisine ,if you require any other cuisine inform us in advance)
  • 6 PM till 8 AM Houseboat will be stationed, and cruise will start again from 9.00 AM .
  • AC Houseboats - AC is operational only from 8 PM to 6AM .( if you require 24 hour AC, it will be charged extra )
